Battalion S-5: Public Affairs

c/CPT Danielle Moyer

Hello cadets! I am c/CPT Moyer and I will be the S5 for the 2026-2027 school year! As the S5 public affairs officer, my job is to manage the Kearny AJROTC social medias, communication, photography and more! I'm m basically responsible in making our battalion look nice. What I enjoy doing in my freetime is creating art! I love to draw, sketch, paint, and I am currently learning how to sculpt! I also enjoy building legos (specifically ninjago sets) as well as reading and playing video games!

JROTC Career

I started my JROTC career as a part of Alpha CO. I was very quiet at first and I didn't talk to anyone. I was even surprised when the instructors suggested me to apply for company leadership. Thats when I became the alpha company first sergeant for the first semester, then promoted to Delta's company commander for the second semestor of my freshman year. Then first semester of sophmore year I applied for S5 for the 26/27 year. I am a member of Kearnys academics, raiders, and regulation team! I have formed strong and powerful friendships with other cadets in those teams. I am so grateful for JROTC improving my confidence.

Academics

I started my academic journy by getting honor every quarter ive attended Kearny high school. My main goal is to maintain straight A's every year until i graduate which ive been doing pretty good so far. I am currently starting to take honors classes which is awsome!
